The campground's upper loop with four family sites and one group site is open year-round. A boat-launching area with a sandy surface provides river access for anglers with drift boats and whitewater boaters.
The class II-III Klamath River can be accessed from the campground, and lends itself to fishing, tubing, whitewater rafting and kayaking. Hiking trails are available in the vicinity.
