Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the lake attracts campers who enjoy hiking, canoeing, fishing and watching for wildlife. Charles Creek flows near the campground and offers additional opportunities for fishing.
Lake Isabel welcomes non-motorized boating and fishing.
